Every AI project automates the diagram instead of the work.
“What is often lacking is not creativity in the idea creating sense-but innovation in the action producing sense, i.e. putting your ideas to work.”
- Theodore Levitt

Why it was OurIdea.
We exist to help every organisation thrive in an AI-native world.
The pace of change is not slowing down, it is compounding. Businesses that adapt in step with it will pull ahead. Businesses that bolt new technology onto old processes will fall behind, however good the tools are.
We started with go-to-market, because that is the gap we could see most clearly. Working through it with real businesses showed us something underneath it: almost nobody can describe how their own organisation actually works. Not the version in the process documents. The version that happens on a Tuesday, with the workarounds, the spreadsheet nobody owns and the person everything waits on.
You cannot improve what you cannot see, and you certainly cannot automate it. Every failed AI project we have watched failed for the same reason: it automated the diagram instead of the work.
So abi. starts by building a clone of your business. What actually happens, in whose hands, in which systems, and where it gets stuck. It learns that from the people doing the work and from the documents you already have, and it keeps the two apart, because how work is supposed to happen and how it really happens are different things and the gap between them is where the value is.
Once that map exists, everything else has something true to stand on. Your go-to-market plan. Your team’s methodology. What to automate first, and what to leave alone.

How it works
1
See it.
abi. builds a live map of how your organisation actually runs, from the people doing the work and the documents you already have.
2
Find the gaps.
Where work waits, where it leaves the building, where the documented way and the real way have quietly diverged.
3
Decide what matters.
Not everything is worth fixing. abi. shows what the constraint is costing before you spend anything changing it.
4
Equip the team.
A single modern methodology, taught to the people who have to execute it, not a slide deck nobody opens twice.
5
Keep it honest.
The map updates as the business changes. This is a loop, not a project with an end date.
The idea that built your business was yours alone. The ideas that take it further can be ours, together.
Our idea is your business’s success; today and into what comes next.
Founders note.
Hey people, Adam here.
As I write this with my fingers on the keyboard (no AI in here), I wanted to outline in simple terms why I built OurIdea.ai and the abi. Platform.
Over the past fifteen years, I have worked with thousands of organisations around the world with the primary goal of selling to them. However, having worked for my entire career in a B2B sales capacity, in the vast majority of cases, they needed extensive support from my teams in sales execution.
Sales and Marketing is the number one skill gap across SMBs and it’s unsurprising. Founders build businesses doing what they know and have been successful at before. Sales consultants don’t advise on how best to build engines or secure networks; they advise on the best strategy for growth. Therefore, it’s rare for IT service providers, construction firms, engineering companies, accountancies, solicitors or any other small or mid market organisation to have the budget or experience in successful go-to-market implementation strategy.
Every person in any organisation is a sales person. Weird statement, that many may contest, but it’s true. Every owner, executive, leader or employee of any business is a representative of that business, the brand, the culture, and the value. Making the company successful should be the number one goal for every employee. But in so many instances that is not enough to drive growth.
Your business existing today is testament to your and your teams ability to evangelise its value. But in yesterday’s world you would likely have stepped into a customer conversation from an advisory capacity. You selling the solution or service are the expert and from that position of authority were able to educate your client or prospect on why they need what you are selling. The world has changed.
Today, most of the buying cycle is managed by the customer before you are involved.
Control of the part you do have needs to be precise, targeted and mapped the moment you walk into the first conversation.
OurIdea has been built to enable just that.
Growth does not only come from more customers, but the right customers, at the right time, in the right way.
Our idea is to equip you with the plan and the skills to execute and exceed your business goals and bring your entire team on the journey.
When I started building this it was a go-to-market tool, because that is the gap I had spent fifteen years watching. What I found was that I could not give anyone a decent plan without first understanding how their business actually worked, and almost none of them could tell me. Not because they did not know their own company, but because nobody had ever written it down in a way that survived contact with a Tuesday. So we built that first. The plan is better when it is built on something true.
Your success is OurIdea.
