Every AI agent has an owner, or it does not go live.
abi. Governance keeps one register per client: each agent, who owns it, how risky it is, what controls it needs and how it screens against the EU AI Act. Clients will be asked for this before they are asked for anything else.
For each agent: the owner, the processes it touches, the risk tier, the controls that tier needs, its EU AI Act screening, and when it is next due for review. An agent is adopted into the real map only once it has an owner.
Four questions that set the risk.
How much does it act on its own? What data does it see? What happens if it is wrong? Can it be undone? The answers set the tier, and the tier sets the controls: a way to switch it off, a log of what it does, telling people they are dealing with AI, a data protection impact assessment where one is needed.
Rules that can only tighten.
Set the rules for a client once. A new agent can make them stricter, never looser.
