Applies to ouridea.ai, app.ouridea.ai and all OurIdea.ai products (abi. Clone, abi. Launchpad, FirstFlight, SIGNAL and SIGNAL Academy, across the abi. Free, abi. Pro and abi. Max levels)
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the OurIdea.ai website, the abi. platform application, abi. Launchpad, FirstFlight, SIGNAL and SIGNAL Academy, and any other product or service we make available (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, starting a free plan or trial, or purchasing any Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. About us
Trading name: OurIdea.ai. Trading as OurIdea.ai (Adam Salley, sole trader, established in the United Kingdom). Contact: adam@ouridea.ai.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean OurIdea.ai, the trading name of Adam Salley, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom. “You” and “your” mean the individual or business entering into these Terms.
2. Our products
We provide AI-assisted business mapping and go-to-market products and services, currently comprising:
abi. Launchpad: a one-time AI-generated go-to-market strategy pack and assessment, delivered digitally (one-time purchase, £97).
SIGNAL and SIGNAL Academy: a sales methodology and certification course, sold as 12 months of access on a per-seat or team basis (Per Seat, 5-seat, and 15-seat tiers, billed annually).
abi.: our business operating system, available as: Free (build a clone of your business by hand, add the people in it, and upload your documents, at no cost and with no time limit, provisioned automatically on signup with no payment required; AI reading of those documents and AI interviews with your team are not included at this level, because each one is a model call); abi. Pro (billed monthly, £149/month); abi. Max (billed monthly, £497/month); Trials (we may offer time-limited trials of abi. Pro or abi. Max; see section 5).
abi. Pro and abi. Max both include a monthly allowance of AI usage, measured in credits: 1,000 credits a month on Pro and 5,000 on Max. The price of each AI feature in credits is shown in the app before you run it. The allowance resets at the start of each billing month and does not carry over. When it is exhausted, AI features stop and tell you so: we do not bill you for usage beyond your allowance, and you cannot be charged an overage without choosing to buy more. Paid credit top-ups are not yet available; when they are, the price and terms will be shown before purchase. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable once used. A short rate limit applies to bursts of AI use to protect the service.
Both paid plans also include abi. Agent Studio, which generates workflow files you import into your own automation tool, and abi. Governance in beta. Both plans include abi. funnel and Call Review, which scores a sales call transcript you provide. abi. Clone, the process map, and abi. Pulse are available on every plan including Free. abi. FirstFlight, a one-time AI-generated launch plan for early-stage companies, is sold separately.
We may add, change, or retire products and plans over time. Current pricing and plan details are shown at checkout and in your account settings.
All outputs, including abi. Launchpad packs, SIGNAL Academy content, and abi.’s weekly health scores and AI-generated insights, are produced using a combination of artificial intelligence and structured frameworks. They are advisory in nature and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. You acknowledge that the quality of outputs depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information and data you provide or connect.
3. Your account & responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful information when signing up, completing an intake form, or connecting a third-party tool. You’re responsible for all activity under your account, including any team members or seats you add (subject to your plan’s seat limit). You must keep your login credentials confidential and use the Services only for lawful business purposes. You retain full responsibility for any business decisions you make based on our outputs — you should independently verify outputs before acting on them. Detailed rules on acceptable use are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Payment terms
All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated, and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. One-time purchases (abi. Launchpad and FirstFlight) and annual purchases (SIGNAL) are payable in full at checkout. Monthly subscriptions (abi. Pro, abi. Max) are billed in advance on a rolling monthly basis via Stripe, until cancelled. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; price changes won’t affect a purchase you’ve already confirmed, and existing subscribers get reasonable notice before any change takes effect on their next renewal. If a recurring payment fails, we’ll attempt to retake payment and may suspend paid-feature access until payment succeeds or you cancel.
5. Free plan, trials & cancellation
Free plan: provisioned automatically on signup at no cost. You can build a clone of your business by hand, add the people in it, and upload your documents, permanently and with no time limit. AI reading of those documents and AI interviews with your team are not included at this level, because each one is a model call. We may change or limit Free plan features at any time. Trials: where offered, give temporary access to abi. Pro or abi. Max features for a stated period (currently 14 days); unless you cancel before the trial ends, we may ask you to add a payment method to continue, or your account reverts to Free — we won’t auto-charge you without your agreement to start a paid subscription. Cancelling a subscription: cancel abi. Pro or abi. Max any time from account settings or by emailing adam@ouridea.ai; takes effect at the end of the current billing period, no further charge. SIGNAL renewal: runs 12 months from purchase; if set to auto-renew, you’ll get a reminder and a short cooling-off period after a renewal charge per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Refunds & your right to cancel
By purchasing a Service, you acknowledge that digital content or access typically begins immediately (or shortly after purchase), and that — to the extent permitted by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — you waive your statutory 14-day cancellation right once delivery or access has started. Full refund, cancellation and cooling-off terms (including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015) are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms overrides your statutory rights.
7. Delivery of services
Delivered digitally via website, the abi. platform, email, and downloadable documents. Timelines are estimates, not guaranteed. We’re not liable for delays caused by incorrect/incomplete user input, technical issues outside our reasonable control, or outages of connected third-party platforms.
8. Intellectual property
All content, frameworks, methodologies (including SIGNAL), course materials, software and system designs remain the intellectual property of OurIdea.ai (Adam Salley). You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use outputs for your own internal business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, repackage outputs as your own offering, or use them to build a competing product/service.
9. Data protection
We process personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You confirm you have the right to share any data you input or connect.
10. AI-Generated Guidance & Disclaimer
The Services, including abi. Clone, abi. Launchpad and FirstFlight, are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Nature of AI Outputs: Every output any AI feature of the Services produces (together, “AI Outputs”) is generated using large language models combined with structured frameworks, based on the information you provide and, where applicable, connected-tool data. This includes, without limitation: abi.’s health scores and recommended actions; abi. Launchpad’s strategy pack; abi. FirstFlight’s launch plan; SIGNAL Academy content; abi.’s weekly insights; the process map, summaries and inferred processes abi. Clone produces from interviews, uploaded documents or captured sessions; abi. funnel’s findings; the scores, summaries and suggested actions Call Review produces; the optimisations, redesigned process chains, running-cost estimates and workflow files abi. Agent Studio produces; the reading of an imported workflow; and the risk tiers, control lists and EU AI Act screening abi. Governance produces. AI Outputs are inherently probabilistic — they may contain factual inaccuracies, outdated assumptions, omissions, or recommendations unsuited to your circumstances, and don’t reflect real-time market, legal, financial, or competitive conditions.
Not professional advice: AI Outputs are general business guidance only — not legal, financial, tax, investment, employment, or other professional advice, and not a substitute for a qualified professional.
Your responsibility: You’re solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether/how to act on any AI Output before implementing it. You retain full responsibility for all business decisions, strategies, hires, spend, pricing, or other actions taken on the basis of abi., abi. Launchpad, SIGNAL Academy, or any other AI Output — whether acted on directly or relied on indirectly through advice you give others.
No liability for outcomes: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, cost, or business outcome (including lost revenue, missed opportunities, reputational harm, or failed initiatives) arising from your reliance on, or implementation of, abi. health scores or insights, abi. Launchpad recommendations, SIGNAL Academy guidance, or any other AI Output — regardless of whether we knew or should have known such reliance was likely. This doesn’t apply to loss caused by our fraud or wilful default, or any liability that can’t lawfully be excluded.
Human-in-the-loop: abi. and abi. Launchpad are designed to support — not replace — your own judgment and that of your advisors. We strongly recommend reviewing AI Outputs with relevant stakeholders before making material business decisions.
11. How we govern our own use of AI
abi.’s insights, abi. Launchpad packs and FirstFlight blueprints are generated via Anthropic’s Claude API, using prompts/frameworks we design, version, and review — we don’t expose raw, unmoderated model output.
Data sent to our AI provider is processed in transit only, never used to train any model (ours or theirs).
Where AI Outputs draw on connected business tools (abi. only), we send computed metrics and stated context — never raw customer records, contact personal data, or financial account details.
Material methodology changes are reviewed before release; outputs may vary over time as prompts/models/frameworks improve.
If you believe an AI Output is materially wrong, harmful, or inappropriate, contact adam@ouridea.ai — we review reported issues to improve our frameworks.
abi. Governance (beta) is a different thing from this section, and the distinction matters. It is a structured self-assessment for the AI agents you design: a named owner, a risk tier, the controls that tier calls for, and a screening against Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744.
It is not legal advice and it does not certify compliance. A status of “confirmed” or “cleared” means only that the owner and escalation checks passed and that no prohibited practice was declared. It does not mean every listed control is in place, which is why we show the evidenced count beside the required count. You remain responsible for your own compliance with the AI Act, and with UK and EU data protection and employment law. Log retention periods shown are our standard; where the Act sets a minimum we state it alongside.
Policy Studio lets you add your own rules on top of that screening. Your rules can raise a risk tier or add a control. They cannot lower a tier, remove a control, or clear a prohibited practice, and you are responsible for the rules you publish.
11a. What you bring us about other people
Some features let you give us material that is about someone other than you: a recorded working session, an uploaded document, a colleague or client you name on a map, or a transcript of a call. For each of those you confirm that you were entitled to create it and are entitled to share it with us; that you have told the people involved, to the extent the law where you operate requires it; and that you have obtained any consent the law requires, including for recording a call. You are the controller of that material and we process it on your instructions under our data processing terms. We may refuse or remove material where we have reason to think this was not the case.
Nothing in the Services is to be used to monitor, appraise or discipline an individual. That applies to captured sessions, interview responses and call scores in particular. abi. does not score individuals and we will not present one person’s answers to their employer as a performance record.
11b. abi. Agent Studio: files you import into your own systems
abi. Agent Studio generates a workflow file from your own process map. You download it and import it into your own automation tool, under your own account. What it does once you have wired it up and switched it on is yours.
abi. never asks for, stores or fills in a credential for the systems a workflow touches. The file carries named placeholders and a written guide tells you what to connect. Never paste a key into abi.
A generated workflow is a working draft, not a running automation. It needs connecting and testing before it is switched on, and we tell you the failure most likely to bite first. abi. does not execute your workflows and does not monitor them: they run on your infrastructure, on your schedule, and there is no uptime commitment of any kind from us in respect of them. You are responsible for reviewing what a workflow will do before you enable it, for the messages it sends and the records it changes, and for complying with the terms of the services it connects to. Each export carries a version and a date, and the guide tells you how to back it out.
12. Limitation of liability
We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including lost revenue/profits/opportunities), to the fullest extent permitted by law. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the relevant Service in the 12 months before the claim. We don’t guarantee any specific business outcome, revenue growth, or market result — outcomes depend on your own execution and market conditions, and this applies in particular to decisions made on the basis of abi. or abi. Launchpad guidance (see section 10). Nothing limits liability for death/personal injury from negligence, fraud, or anything that can’t be excluded under English law.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend/terminate access for breach of these Terms (including the Acceptable Use Policy), misuse, suspected fraud, or significant payment overdue. Refunds on termination follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy and your statutory rights.
14. Force majeure
Not liable for failure/delay from events outside our reasonable control (internet/hosting outages, third-party platform failures, natural disasters, government action).
15. Governing law
England and Wales law governs these Terms; courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes notified by email or in-app notice before taking effect; continued use after a change = acceptance.
